I loved meeting this couple! They are gorgeous, laid back, fun, and best of all: up to anything! I had so much fun with them and love the way the pictures turned out. I’m super bummed I won’t get to do their wedding (in Vegas), but I know they’ll have a blast.. Here’s a little sneak peek!

I met Rita and Shawn this Saturday for their engagement session and had a blast with them! Shawn was a little shy at first, but I’m pretty sure he warmed up to the idea of getting pictures done. I really recommend engagement pictures so you can get comfortable with the photographer who will be shooting your wedding. I can’t wait for their wedding in July! Rita is very good with details and is doing an amazing job preparing for her big day. I loved looking through her binder of ideas when we met for their wedding consult. This couple is GORGEOUS! I guess I don’t need to say that, the pictures will say more than my words can. But that’s not all, they are sweet, totally in love, and were up for anything! And their puppy is one of the cutest puppies I have ever seen! I think I need one just like that…

Can you see the love? When I met them I could just see it so clearly! Not only that, I was amazed at how easy Derek could make Heather laugh, it was adorable! They were made for each other… I got totally carried away and the session went a little longer than expected – but so worth it!

These two are so cute! I’m so lucky I met them (and their dogs), and had an awesome session! The weather was great and we had fun… I’m so loving snow fights and pictures of the snow frozen in place, you know? I usually have my shutter at 640 or 800, aperture around 3.2, and ISO at 100…

I can’t wait for their wedding in May – SOOoooo excited!

Wow, wow, wow… I’m not even sure how to describe these two. They are amazing together! We met at the Walker Art Center this Saturday and I was happy to be the first to take them on a little tour of the place . It really is awesome to introduce so many people to my favorite spots! Wow, that’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this couple… Their love and chemistry is awesome and we literally laughed through the whole session! I met them in Stillwater (where they got engaged) this Saturday and we did the whole session outside. I can’t say the weather was nice because it really wasn’t, it was freezing, but it was so worth it… I can’t wait until next October when I’ll be shooting their wedding
