Everything was beautiful and Margery was so creative with everything it was truly awesome to watch her as her brain thought of more and more ideas to make her day even more beautiful. I loved meeting this couple! They are gorgeous, laid back, fun, and best of all: up to anything! I had so much fun with them and love the way the pictures turned out. I’m super bummed I won’t get to do their wedding (in Vegas), but I know they’ll have a blast.. Here’s a little sneak peek!

I met Rita and Shawn this Saturday for their engagement session and had a blast with them! Shawn was a little shy at first, but I’m pretty sure he warmed up to the idea of getting pictures done. I really recommend engagement pictures so you can get comfortable with the photographer who will be shooting your wedding. I can’t wait for their wedding in July! Rita is very good with details and is doing an amazing job preparing for her big day. I loved looking through her binder of ideas when we met for their wedding consult. Tim + Shauna {Aruba Destination Photographer}

What a love story! And what a wedding! I feel so blessed to have met this couple and to be the one to capture one of the most important days of their lives. Shauna’s dress by Maggie Sottero was simply stunning and a perfect match for Tim’s sharp suit. They just fit. I also loved the colors they picked. Shauna’s “something blue” was definitely there!

T+S, I wish you all the best in your married life together, lots of happiness, laughter, trips to Aruba, sunset dinners… Everything! I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!

This past week I had the pleasure of flying to Aruba to photograph Tim and Shauna’s wedding. This couple is simply amazing and it was really great to work with them. Aruba is beautiful and these are some pictures from the civil ceremony. A LOT more pictures to come!

The Queen {and king}

Amanda was prom queen just the day before our session – how sweet is that? And her lovely boyfriend (who helped me tons with my reflector) was the prom king… Ah, seriously too sweet! They were so adorable and Amanda’s family was super sweet! I kinda felt like I knew them all for years! Her mom, Patti, will probably laugh when she reads this, but she definetely seems like a mom to a lot of people, she just has that kind of good heart . I’ll post some pictures of the family soon, but for now, enjoy the queen – and a little bit of the king; I just couldn’t resist taking a picture of them together! Oh, and don’t you think Amanda looks like Misha Barton from the O.C?
