I finally found a jacket that is warm enough for this crazy cold and boots that kept my toes warm! I took some time to enjoy the snow and find beauty that I hadn’t seen before… It’s funny, but I can’t stop watching movies that have ice skating and romance… I don’t know, it just seems like I found love and something vey sweet in the snow. I keep seeing snow ball fights followed by kisses, kids eating the fresh snow, freezing the snow in the air with a picture… Ah…. just lovely! Here are two pics I took for my personal collection! So, while browsing friend’s sites I came accross Brianna Morrison’s blog and found something I just couldn’t resist getting. I think it took all but a second for me to go to Piperlime and start drooling, then another second for me to grab my purse and make the purchase. Seriously, at this price AND with free shipping these flats were practially free!

Tuesday I leave for Brazil and I haven’t even started packing yet! I don’t think I’ll be doing any of that tonight either. I have tons of gifts to wrap because we are celebrating Christmas with my in-laws tomorrow. This will be my hubby’s first Christmas away from home, and my first Christmas back home in four years! 2009 is almost gone and all I can say about it is: “wow”! What a year! I’m having a blissful holiday moment right now, thinking about all the wonderful things that happened this year, and dreaming about all the wonderful things that are yet to come. I’m going to make some hot cocoa and wrap lots of gifts and watch holiday movies until I get too tired to function :-) .

This year has brought so much joy and fulfillment and happiness to my life, and I really wish to yours life as well. It’s not that everything has been perfect, or that I got everything I asked “santa” for, but I think focusing on all the good things as opposed to the bad things makes life more enjoyable. On that note of focusing on the good things, I thought I would share 10 things that come to mind that I am thankful for.
